Excellent planning - manure distribution plan and storeroom capacity

With increasing nutrient prices, organic fertilizer plays an enormous role in the Saxon farm. Therefore, we designed a software project for efficient and legally correct storage for the LfULG. From the click dummy, which guides you through the project interactively, to the backend logic, we have provided the customer with great added value for the subsequent implementation. The algorithms used were clearly prepared for the specialist department.

More information
The goal
  • Project planning of the storage room capacity calculation, a software that calculates how much storage space the farmer has available for organic fertilizer.
  • Project planning of the manure distribution plan, a software that uses an optimization computer to make a suggestion as to which field should receive how much organic fertilizer.

The analytics professional - our DSNOnline

Nitrogen is the most important plant nutrient. Optimum nitrogen fertilisation, depending on the nitrogen content of the soil and the requirements of the cultivated plants, is provided by the fertiliser advisory system nitrogen (Düngeberatungssystem Stickstoff - DSN). From commissioning, to data entry, to sampling and analysis, to calculation of the fertiliser recommendation and the dispatch of results, many people and organisations are involved. All these steps can be handled or are being coordinated via our web application, DSNOnline which is part of the soil portal.

More information
The goal
  • Application, analysis and documentation of nitrogen soil samples
  • Determination of the optimal fertilisation recommendation via connection of the Bavarian State Institute for Agriculture (LfL)

The efficient one - our NminOnline

Nitrogen is the most important plant nutrient. For optimal nitrogen fertilization, the nitrogen content of the soil is indispensable. Many people and organisations are involved from the commissioning, data entry, sampling and analysis to the dispatch of results. All these work steps can be handled or coordinated via our web application, DSNOnline in the soil portal.

The multitasker - our FarmDispo

Many people are involved in harvesting or silaging - from the mower driver to the forage harvester to the driver who brings the chopped grass to the silo; from the weighing master at the silo to the driver on the silo who distributes the silage. Everything must go hand in hand. To do this, everyone must know what to do and what the other person is doing at the moment. With our free 'FramDispo' app, farmers can optimally coordinate their field work and stay up-to-date at all times. This makes agricultural processes simple and cost-effective.

The accountant - our nutrient balance

For many farms the nutrient balance is mandatory. It is used to calculate how many nutrients are removed from the soil by the cultivated plants and returned to the field through fertilizers. The nutrient balance is drawn up at the end of each year to analyse whether nutrient withdrawal and the amount of fertiliser used correlate with each other. We have added the nutrient balance to the soil portal. This allows the user (e.g. farmer, ring keeper, consultant) to quickly and easily balance the nutrient inputs and withdrawals.

The goal
  • Simplified preparation of the nutrient balance
  • Further development of the soil portal by adding the nutrient balance module

The math genius - our 170-kg-N calculation

Similar to the nutrient balance, this method records how much fertilizer from organic fertilizers (e.g. liquid manure) is spread on the fields of a farm. The nitrogen is the important factor here. The annual balance must not exceed 170 kilograms per hectare (170 kg N/ha). We have extended the soil database by the 170 kg N calculation. This enables the farmer to easily calculate the annual maximum amount of fertiliser and, if necessary, distribute his manure to other farmers.

The goal
  • Further development of the soil portal by adding the calculation 170 kg N method
  • Simplified, semi-automatic calculation of the 170 kg N limit

The economist - Our BBV market app

Although prices for agricultural products are set on the world market, they vary greatly from region to region. With our mobile market app, farmers can monitor the current price situation on the market at all times: He feeds the Market App database with information on the prices he receives from the agricultural trade. In return, he receives an overview of the prices achieved by other farmers. In addition, he always receives short, up-to-date market information. This enables him to achieve the best possible price.

The roving reporter - our info app 'ER Mobil'

The yellow rust pressure is increasing - should your customers take appropriate measures? Information, developments and recommendations in plant cultivation can be accessed quickly and easily via our mobile app connected to the soil portal. Producer associations or advisors can use it to provide their farmers with the most important crop cultivation information and developments on their smartphones - including recommendations for action.

The simplifyer - our fertilizer requirement calculation

For most farms the determination of the fertiliser requirement before the first fertiliser application is mandatory. There are - in detail rather complex - legal requirements as to how the determination for nitrogen and phosphate must be carried out. We have expanded the soil database to include the determination of fertilisation requirements. This enables the user (e.g. farmer, supervisor, consultant) to determine the fertilisation requirement on the PC within a reasonable time frame.

The all-rounder - our soil portal

Nutrients in the soil need to be analysed regularly to meet the nutrient requirements of the crops being grown and to protect agricultural soils from depletion or over-fertilisation. Many people are involved in this process, from the farmer himself, to the supervisor and advisor, to the analysing laboratory. Our web application supports the coordination of all work steps as well as the calculation and documentation.

  • Management of the users' agricultural fields
  • Connection to the integrated Bavarian Agricultural Information System (iBALIS)

The reliable one - our optimised milk logistics 'AutoDispo'

The BMI (Bavarian Milk Industry) has many dairies. The challenge for the dairy dispatchers: Which truck should be sent to which dairy with which quantity of milk at what time? Our online platform AutoDispo optimises the milk disposition: The trucks are dispatched in such a way that each dairy receives the desired quantity, while at the same time the costs for transport are kept as low as possible. Restrictions such as delivery times, maximum delivery quantity per hour and minimum delivery quantity within a certain time range are also taken into account. The processes in the dairy are unified and standardised. And: the secure operation of the online platform is guaranteed at all times. All in all, this saves the milk dispatchers time and costs.

More information
The goal
  • Creation of a web application for linear optimization of the logistics process including various restrictions (e.g. maximum delivery quantity per hour, delivery times, desired delivery quantities, various milk types)
  • Cost savings through optimisation of the logistics processes of BMI
